The Children Eat Free

With local schools closing there has been immediate concern from community members: what about the children that rely on school meals? Unfortunately, this is the reality for many. The current lock down has left some families panicking. Please pass this information along so that those who are in need can find assistance.

Warm Springs Diner of Martinsburg is offering a free meal to children.

Angel’s Bar & Grill is offering free take out meals to children, no dine-in.

Kitzie’s Restaurant & Lounge is offering free meals to children.

Mountaineer Pub is offering free meals to children.

J & T’s Bar & Grill is offering free meals to children.

Mother Shuckers Crab Shack is offering free meals to children.

4 Corners Club is offering free meals to children.

Sissy’s Family Restaurant is offering free meals to children.

Thurmont Kountry Kitchen is offering free meals to children.

Willow Bourn Farms is offering free eggs to supplement at home.

Sprint is not charging late fees or shutting off service.

Uhaul is offering a month of free storage for college students.

Comcast is offering free internet for two months to low income families.

WVU Medicine East has established a COVID-19 Triage Hotline for use by anyone who has a respiratory or flu-like illness that they believe could be related to COVID-19.

• If you develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing
• If you have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19
• If you recently traveled to an area with confirmed cases

Please call our Triage Hotline, Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4:30 pm at 304.596.2890 to speak with a healthcare professional.
